Privacy Policy
A clear, honest look at what information ClockWiFi handles — for business owners, staff, and the guests using your Wi-Fi.
1. What this policy covers
This policy explains what information we handle when you use ClockWiFi — as a venue owner, staff member, or guest connected to a venue’s Wi-Fi. We keep things simple and only collect what we genuinely need.
2. Information from venue owners and staff
When you create an account we store your name, business name, and email address so you can sign in and manage your dashboard. We do not sell this information to anyone.
3. Information from guests
Guests do not need an account and we do not ask for their names or emails. To manage timed sessions, the Gateway records basic connection details such as the device identifier and connection times, purely so sessions can start, count down, and expire correctly.
4. Guest privacy by design
We do not build profiles of your customers, track their browsing, or share their connection activity with advertisers. Session data is used only to operate the Wi-Fi you provide.
5. Local-first storage
Session enforcement runs locally on your Gateway, and much of your dashboard data is stored locally on your own devices. Where cloud synchronization is enabled, your configuration and session data are synchronized so you can manage multiple branches.
6. Security
We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect account information. Access to the dashboard is protected by your login credentials, and you should keep your password private.
7. Retention
We keep account and session data only as long as needed to provide the service and to keep your venue working the way you set it up. You can ask us to remove your account and data at any time.
8. Your choices
You can update or remove your account information by contacting us. Guest session records for your venue are managed from your dashboard, and we can help you remove them on request.
9. Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle information, we will update this page and, where appropriate, tell you directly before the change takes effect.
10. Getting in touch
